I'm looking for a small amp... something I can take over to friends places to jam and whatnot.
How do the two compare in terms of tone/voice? Does the AD5 stay clean a long time? Or does it breakup pretty fast?

I tried them both out two days ago and I still want a TT, can't say the same about the AD-5.

The TT is giggable (in most circumstances, if you don't need super clean) and the AD5 is not.
This alone makes the TT a better choice. I don't see the AD5 as anything other than a decent practice amp, but without eq, gain and a headphone socket its limited, which is why i guess alot of people have a solid state practice amp, or have a small valve head with a headphone out and digital effects (reverb, trem, etc)
