The pathetic thing about Dave Mustaine is he's still a million selling artist - but he's bitter because Metallica have sold *more* millions - most people would kill to be in his position, or just to make any knid of living out of the thing they love! He should be a man and appreciate what incredible luck he's had. Most people who mess up due to abusing their bodies don't get another chance, he might not have been given one by Metallica but he still ended up in a position most musicians dream of. It's crass to still be complaining all these years later.

Metallica and Megadeth back in the day were great, Dave Mustain pretty much (created) started thrash metal. man, he wrote the songs that made Metallica huge back in 82. then right when they took off he got booted for being an obnoxious drunk, busting up the homes of the fans that gave them a place to sleep, shower and party. but then he managed to do it all over again, and create another monster band,, WOW!!! then it sprawled out of control and there it was, thrash metal was born..

if you really do your research you will learn that (Dave) he made it in music not once but twice, can't say that for most,,

trust me, get the, Get Thrashed: story Of Thrash Metal DVD, it has the whole story in debt of Metallica and Megadeth, and a few more like Exodus, Anthrax, Death Angle and so on.

That's what I said - and why he has no right to still be whining about Metallica as though it ruined his life! He has a great life in a hugely successful band and is still bitter. He should be happy and proud of what he's done, not keep agonising over what could've been.
