damn, sounded <i>nice</i>. My band has a show in Nashville in a couple weeks, and I'm gonna check one of these out. I bet it will be hard to leave without one. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Sweet -- you rock dude!

Are the Duncans really hot single Coil? Or are they Humbuckers? Because I love that sound...what were the settings on your rv?

Hey Chris!

they are not "that" hot...it's a regular "duncan custom" humbucker (ceramic magnet) in the bridge. I think the neck pickup is an Anderson SA1-. On the amp... bass was 100%, mids at 10:45, treble at 12:30 (I think), gain at 2:00. I hate that wah...it can be easily used as a crutch, but it also makes the notes come out good (the top end bite). They have more bite than the duncan distortion, but less lows/mids/output.

I think it's pretty much the same amp settings (or close) to the clips I did a while back with the $200 guitar. I need to get this last gig from video to audio..the house mix is a lot "bitier" and raw than the "to the board" miced thing.

Still not happy with the tone <sigh>..but a lot of people (including band) like the current tone. Just doesn't feel 100% me yet, if that makes any sense?

Is your wah in the fx loop or out front?

The wah's up front.. guitar->boss tuner->wah->amp.
I like the range of the wah, and it's pretty inexpensive,
but it does wierd things to the "tightness" of the sound
robbing too much tone.
