I guess my favorite is the Thinline Tele that I bought new in 1972. Was the only guitar that I had for many years, and I have sold many nice guitars, amps, etc over the years, and have starved, lived on chicken pot pies and Campbells soup, and stolen from the grocery store in the past so I wouldn't have to sell it. It's the Natural one in the middle, the sunburst is a RI that I bought to gig with.. It's like my best friend, and part of my family. My stepson gets it when I'm all done in (Unless I'm murdered. lol)

Build one, you will appreciate it more.Seriously with Warmoth doing such a fantastic job with the bodies, you can pick out a choice piece of wood.I wouldn't recommend doing the finish yourself unless you have a lot of experience with woodworking.

For many years I've helped a good friend of mine with his passion, restoring antique Wurlitzer, Seeburg, etc. Jukeboxes and wall speakers. I mostly do the mechanical, electrical, and grunt work, but he is a master at woodworking. But if they come with N-Laquer finish, I'm thinking that's the way to go! Hmmm.. Christmas is coming!!

That is a sweet tele Clay!
I have that 86 Paisley guitar! I just remodeled it and it kicks major @ss! I changed the pups and used the following (Corky knows pups!) to great success: SD George Lynch lil Screamin Demon (I know, I know, I wouldn;t have believed it either - great low output PAF sounding pup) in the bridge and Dimarzio Area 61 in the neck and middle. Check it out!
