Do you plug straight in and go,or is their a few effects in between?Just curious on how the oranges handle effects.

Straight in. Sometimes I use a volume pedal to clean things up, but it's usually right into the amp.
My OR-120 takes well to effects like delay, and I have a Phaser that sounds good with it.
But any distortion pedals i've tried just cut too much low end off and make the amp sound thin and ratty. Though others love pedals with them. To each their own.

I have never used pedals, but I was thinking of getting a jimi hendrix wah pedal. Also, would a boss eq work good with the rocker30?

you want to use the boss eq for solo's? man I had a friend that did that and it was alright but I would suggest saving up and looking into a boost pedal there are great ones out there some expensive and some ...not so bad... I have the Xotic Rc booster, it has a bass, treble, gain and volume knob which helps out your eq for solo's (badass). Or try the zvex boosts they are great too.
MY SETUP IS AS STRIPPED AS I CAN SO THAT I USE MY HANDS AND HEAD FOR TONE CHANGE. IF NOT I END UP MAKING "SWIRLING" SOUNDS FOR TOO LONG <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> BUT THE EFFECTS I DO HAVE ARE GOING FROM MY GUITAR TO A VOX CLYDE MCCOY WAH, XOTIC RC BOOST, ELECTRO HARMONIX REVERB MY MODEL ORANGE HAS NO REVERB, BSM RM TREBLE BOOSTER, TUNER AND FINALLY AMP.... MAYBE YOU'LL GET SOME IDEAS. WHAT KIND OF BANDS YOU LISTEN TOO?

Hey retrotone, their is definetly alot of choices out there.I mainly listen to southern rock, hatchet, skynyrd, allmans, and the blues, bonnamassa, leslie west.I know its a weird combination,I really like old school sounding metal like slayer, primal fear, grave digger, but on the metal stuff, its alright to play, but I have no desire at all to ever play in a metal band again.Too many problems.Sorta just sticking to a southern style hard rocking blues.I hope that made sense.

Man,that 335 is one bad guitar,I had one and regret it to this day that I let it go.Them are some very versatile guitars.Cant complain on the 57 either,is it gold top?

With my AD30TCH I either plug straight in or only have a Phase 90 (that I R28 modded). With my Matchless I run all 3 visual sound pedals.
I really like the AD30 overdrive....very sweet!
