Reverb Mod question

Is it possible to add a cap to the reverb pot on my RV100 head? I did this to my 1959slp treble vol pot to give it a wider sweep. The RV pot on my new head goes from "0 to 100" mph, all or none, No Nuts to 100% Balls out when moved from 0 to 1!! Can I do it and retain my warranty, or can you guys do something about it?
