<br />just a question about the two channel inputs, could you have a cable coming from both of the inputs going into an ab box to act like a channel switcher??

It wouldn't work like that since they are EQ'd so differently. The thing to do is to use a Y-cord into both channels and blend them. Sounds fabulous and works better than a jumper cord. I have two JTM-45's and that's what I've done for years!

Note JTM-45 full stack in sig picture!

hmm, would've thought you'd be able to ab them so you could have a channel abit louder than the other for solos

lol, i think you got it right first time [:p], but my explanations of things always seem to be abit rubbish. im renound for confusing people round here, lol. all i wanted to know was if you can use each chanel separately with an a/b box, which you confirmed. Anyways, cant wait for your review on youtube. after seeing your amp i really dont know what amp to save up for. ive always wanted one of those vintage styled marshalls

While all of these methods work, I find that if you use the jumper cable method, you're favoring the overall sound of a particular channel- for example if you plug into the bassier channel, the overall sound is going to be more on the bass side- while if you use a Y-cord, the channels are balanced tone-wise.

To me, the Y-cord gives the best results....
