Only heard the single so far, and it sounds exactly like their last four albums, well actually all of their albums.

I have always been a fan of theirs from back in the 70's but you can tell their songs within the first five notes. I think they got on the If it aint broke don't fix it wagon and haven't gotten off of it. But they will probably make $150,000,000 dollars touring this year, so I can't really blame them. I will have to check out the myspace stuff when I get home to see if it is any good. Damn workplace won't let me access stuff like that :-(

I like the fact all their stuff sounds the same. They've stayed true to themselves and never tried to be like any other band or what was popular at the moment. Nice to see a new album, I was getting tired of these new bands that were coming out sounding like AC/DC. Can't wait to see them in November.

If I was them I'd be embarrassed.

Their last 3 or 4 albums sound like a joke.

I miss Bon Scott!!! and even more I miss the way Angus played when he played with Bon Scott.

Honestly, I haven't dug them since Back In Black. Having said that, I think the new album may have some potential from what I've heard.

back in black was like the first new order album after ian curtis topped himself - still had the residue of joy division's former genius

but...... ultimately... it was still just residue

ac/dc was about bon and angus... and how they worked together... after that it became nothing but a commercial corporate excercise

I really haven't gotten into an AC/DC album since For Those About To Rock. Johnson's voice got burned out from the constant touring. I still love them and can always find at least one decent song on any given album. I think they just put out albums so they can tour at this point, but I agree the Bon Scott era was clearly their high point. peace

It's rumoured they will shortly be writing a song that's not in 'A', thus breaking a 30 year old mold.

OK I know "You shook me All Night Long" is in G, but it's a rarity.
