I have been saving my pennies for awhile to get a really good quality AM Strat. I played a few and then ordered this in. As soon as I picked it I knew it was what I was looking for. The neck is a larger dia. than my MIJ Strat, but it seems to fit my hands better. The tone is very versatile depending on what you are trying to achieve. The neck feels like satin when you slide your hand up. The only problem was a tinny sound at the higher frets. I took it to my instructor and he said it was the steel separating the 17 and 18 frets on the G string and I could either take it in and have it filed or play it for a week or so and see if I could "Wear" it in. I played it for awhile and the sound cleaned up perfectly. All in all so far I'm very happy with it. I just wish I could give it a better work out ...
