Man, I love SG's. I tried to get into Strats, and I did for a while, but for distorted sounds...nothing will beat it for me.

I could easily just live with 1 paul, and a strat. Or maybe 2 strats and a paul.I have 6 guitars now, and 3 havent been played in over 6 months. Seems like a waste to me.

My LP can't do what my Jazzmaster can and vice versa...

and then there's my modded Ibanez Artcore jazzbox... which does what neither of them can...

hey at least i've narrowed it down to 3!!!!!!!!!

Every time I think I'm gonna have the funds for a #2 guitar, I'm scuppered (by my wife, my kids, the credit crunch....). Right now I can't justify it over paying down the mortgage, on top of increasing food and energy bills. Wish I could.

Luckily I love my Les Paul! But I want a Strat, an SG, a flying V, a BFG and possibly a PRS!

I've been playing my strat a bunch lately. Going back to the tele feels strange, there's definitely a thicker neck on my tele. The strat sounds really nice, and is really light, where as the tele weights like 12 pounds (wouldn't surprise me if it weighed 15!

). I'd like to make another strat.

John Mayer strat, American strat delux with a humbucker, and a prs. The John Mayer strat is the new one so I play it the most... maybe end up getting rid of the prs, a little too harsh for me, but i think it just has a bad pickup or something.

When you find a gigging band I bet you will use all 6.
