Weber Headphone Tap

So I got the Weber headphone tap hoping it would be the solution to my volume restrictions in college, and honestly this thing is a piece of s---. The volume knob for the headphones barely makes a difference, and it isn't very loud at all. Very dissapointing. I am going to return it.

any suggestions for keeping volume under control? I have a backheart but even that is too loud. I played a crush 15r today and really liked it. Maybe that will have to suffice.
