Ermm...amps are a bit more difficult than guitars!
Here's how I do it with guitars. You take the new guitar in it's case and stick it under the bed.
You WAIT until the wife is in the bedroom and then you casually.....without shaking......pull it out from under the bed.
Still trying not to tremble you casually start to play it......
When she whips round and says ..."Is that a new guitar????"
you casually say....." No Dear....it's the red one"............or the Black or Blond one!!
I've been getting away with it for 20 years!:D
By the way Vito! Enjoy the TT.....it IS a great little amp!

haha! I did exactly the same thing with my mccarty- thought with the flame top i was at first skeptical that the technique would work!
