Ive had a RV50 for about 2 years now and it still has the original tubes in it....yeah yeah i know shouldve been replaced ages ago. But i didnt play it much at first so ive really only noticed a significant drop a little bit ago. Anyways, im just wondering what brand of tubes would be a good choice. I play stuff like oasis, jet, third eye blind, wolfmother, anberlin, red hot chili peppers. I need my cleans, but i also need something that will give me some pretty sparkely high gains...

Come on dont tell me none of you have ever replaced tubes? What brand were they? Did they improve your tone over the stock orange tubes? Haha anyone?

I've always favored JJ's.

I'd go with JJ as well. Anything from the Tesla factory is my first choice.

Hey welcome to the forum man :)

I just bought a couple of JJ's for my Mesa. Haven't arrived yet but the reviews are good. They're not too expensive either.
