Right I forgot about Sigur Ros, yes I know them. Not a fan of The Mars Volta, brings back memories of pretentious friends in high school...
No, Mark I haven't heard of Kent, I'll be sure to check them out. I dig pop, thanks.

I've got a few ones:

Pariisin Kesat: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... =208491508

These guys are awesome, actually, it's just one guy I think, but the lyrics are awesome, clever and whitty, and very poetic. You can find translations on line, or speak finnish (I do).

The Scaramangas: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=17555175

These guys sing in English, but it's fun to hear them, because their lyrics all are technically fine english, but there's some things that just sound odd or out of place, and it give their music a very odd/somewhat-creepy feel. Very cool stuff.
