LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!
My first official pedalboard set-up since I got my RV 50 MKi in June. And I figured since I was already in that far with upgrading my rig- I just bought a used Voodoo Lab PowerPedal 2Plus for my board. Spent hours yesterday mounting it underneath my board, running the cables all perfect, neatly placed them all in d-wings that I added to the bottom of the board- was so proud, plugged her in, turned it on, and ....got Mexican Radio coming out of my speakers lolz. Didn't have the chance to change anything yet, and it didn't happen today when I turned it on. Bueno.
Running all the pedals through the front right now. Did try a few in the loop with a boost but I really thought it sucked/changed my tone. (had a friend help me do a blind comparison) Will probably screw around with the order and the loop some more sometime' but want to get back to playing. Will have to learn me a Cumbia or something....

Nice and neat looking, like the artwork too! The MKi's are known for tone sucking loops, something they improved on the MKii. I think some pedal add a good buffer to fix it.
Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!
Thanks Jondog! People that haven't set up a pedalboard have no idea what a pita it can be. lol. I could (and will) mess with the pedal order for like, ever.Jondog wrote:Nice and neat looking, like the artwork too! The MKi's are known for tone sucking loops, something they improved on the MKii. The art is functional actually. The cables match the pedal and the power supply cords so I can see what goes where easily.
I did know that about the loop in the MK1's, and being a pedal ho, I was originally looking at buying an MK2, but while researching I read a bunch of posts online about mk1 just having a different sort of magic than the 2, especially with the 6v6's, and I am kind of a sucker for the original of things..... Also thought it was cool that I could change to the 2 el34's to sound like the MK2 if I wanted as well. All that coupled with the fact that I found an MK1 head at an awesome price- I was sold! I will probably try experimenting with the loop some more, but right now it sounds pretty darn good and there are less cables that way... messy cables drive me nuts!!!!!!

Hi guys!
this is my pedalboard! Not counting the missing cable between tuner and comp...
Note that I don't use plexitone so often to not affect the Orange Dual Terror sound...look at the Distortion Pro, it's a great pedal, pretty transparent distortion...but the next step will be remove od and dist and insert a good clear boost like a Spark booster from TC electronics or a RC booster from xotic to "punch" the amp distortion sound.

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!
Finally got my thumb out and fixed my 2 broken electrical outputs, traded in my oversized blackstar boost for a micro amp and made a smaller tap tempo....leaving me with enough room for something new?!?!...thinking maybe its time for a compressor

Re: LETS SEE SOME PEDALBOARDS!!!
Boss tuner is really just a mute nowadays. Les Paul thru this into an AD30TC. Sounded glorious tonight.
