It was quite the revelation for me how such a simple set-up could sound so good. I've said it before, the AD15 (and for all intents and purposes the single channel AD30 & AD50) are one-trick-ponies - but what a trick!Les Paul Lover wrote:I use a Coolcat Transparent OD as a lead boost on my AD15, and it does get some amazing results - not sure if comparable to your AD50 experience, but they both play very nicely together, so long as I keep the gain low on the pedal.
Been toying with a Swollen Pickle lately - so good fuzz and distortion in there - though I think I may end up using it as smooth fuzz rythm/crazy leads type things. I love how it makes high notes and bend sounds almost out of control!!!

You're quite right.
I love my RV50, but the simplicity of the AD15 is mesmerising. All you really need is a boost of some sort, all the rest is superfluous. Superfluous but nice......
Has the AD50 got an FX loop? Does it take your delay nicely too?
