Some of them are really nice. The Agile series actually make pretty darn good les pauls. Some will say wait and save up for the real thing, and some will say go for it. I've owned an Agile guitar, it was awesome, and the only thing I ever did to it was replace the nut with a bone nut because I thought that would help things. It did, but it's not like it was a boat anchor before.

Their higher end stuff is pretty darn nice.

yea, wait and save up 4 times the amount.. i never quite understood that one. everyone should obviously know that you pretty much get what you pay for. but there's got to be a bit of hope for, guys like me anyways, who really cant afford a real gibson, that maybe one of these knock offs should at least hold us out that extra mile. All my equipment together, that ive accumulated over the last 3 years, still hasn't even added up to a BFG even, let alone a classic or 58 reissue, (dream on username, or whatever my forum name is, lol) so i would have been waiting until sometime in the near future, and still of been saving up. i would have found a new hobby to spend my money in by now.

i gotta stop getting involved in these threads, i just returned after a couple months away, and here i am getting all worked up about how much this hobby wants to cost me. again. lol. Maybe someone could explain to me, why ive heard of guys paying 100-200 bucks back in the sixtys for a goldtop AND an amp, but with all of modern day advances and whatnot, Gibson still cant find a way to cut costs so nice guys like us, who practically worship their (Gibson's) guitars will likely only own 1, 2 if im lucky, my entire lifetime, unless i get rich? Its sad really.

So when threads like this pop up, i say go for it dude, cause i would if i didnt have my Epi LP right now, and honestly, i hope its better then anyone expects, and if it is let me know, cause im at the point where id buy it just so i dont bow to rediculously high guitar priceing.

Okay okay, calm down me. Sorry guys, im ranting. Maybe im way off. If so, sorry.

I have the AL-3000 Goldtop with P90s. Amazing quality for the price. The stock P90s sound really good. I intended to do some upgrades (new P90s, tuners, etc...) but left it mostly stock. I only upgraded the tail piece and bridge with Gotoh parts. This guitar is one of my main live guitars now. Love it.

The Al-2000 model has different wiring (more economical) and the frets are NOT hand polished. I felt a little more rough on the edges. You might want/need to do more upgrades on this model to get it to you liking.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Kurt at Rondo. They have a 30 day, no hassle return policy and promptly credit your money back if you do return an item. I've bought 2 guitars from them and sent one back (AL2000 in CSB) because I decided I wanted the higher quality AL3000.

Why not try one for 30 days and see how you like it?

I've been dying to get a guitar with P90s in it, and think these are absolutely awesome looking:

If they had a Strat-type with an HSS configuration, I'd be interested in that. They do have Strat-types with P90s which is interesting too.

I may have to buy one of these, just for sheer shock value when I open the case...

My next guitar is definitely an Agile Al-3000 either the goldtop or the cherry sunburst both with p90s and ebony fretboards for under 400 bux...people here have dogged my decision but some have showed support, just read the reviews and the specs they are excellent guitars.

Looks pretty good until you see the headstock...BUT, at that price, it's a winner!

Agile's used to have more Gibsonish headstocks and horns but they received a cease and desist letter from the lawyers at Gibson.
