Oh man, great purchase - it looks like it's never been used, such wonderful condition!

it is in exceptional condition, odd minor mark on the vinyde, i think its just been well looked after as the valves aren't original mullards, less the chap took the mullards out to keep for himself of course

Stupid question but is that a '72 model (as in based on) or was it really built in 1972. Either way, holy moly that's sweet.

Way cooler than the 40th anniversary head! 8)

Let me ask you, does that head even has one single scratch on it?
It looks nearly mint on the pictures!

satanic versus i paid £750 including the flightcase, plus petrol to pick it up, spent around 5 hours in the car there and back.

orphin there is only one real mark/tear on the vinyde just under the bottom at the front, its been stuck back down, but you can't see it less you turn the amp over, apart from that it looks as new, been kept cased all the time. Bought it off dave langdon on matamp forum

hehe thx, the only thing i would say against it is the preamp tubes are mounted on the pcb and not on the chassis, should be ok, i think i have only ever replaced one preamp tube in any amp and that was one that was straight out of the box in a new amp so it was swapped free under the waranty

That's a right fine head, and I'm happy to see a great amp containing a PCB. ;) (but you all knew I'd say that anyhow, right? :p)

Thanks for posting the pictures!
