yup, i got a 1999 Standard, 60's neck in Honeyburst for $1399
i don't think i could have got a better Standard any cheaper and i happen to love the color. its missing one original knob and the treble/rhythm tag on the switch, it has some buckle rash. but hey for that price best of all its a older heavy one, not one of those new chambered ones. that was a bummer when shopping for new pauls, the are so light they just feel wierd.
im very happy with the price, i still have $675 left over from my Nocaster sale and this money is MUCH needed in a bad way to have my clutch done on my Toyota. i love this car, gets 35 MPG and i must fix it. so it worked out perfect, i just hope this baby plays as nice as she looks. i did something iv always been against, i bought it online with out playing it, i took a chance, but its a 90's gibby and these are supposed to be some of the better ones. and beside i know i can make some cash if had to re-sell her on the bay.
i still have my awesome BFG to its light and chambered so i have both world's of gibson. this thing sounds amazing for an $800 dollar guitar.
check it out, i don't have it i hand yet, next week. im not to fond of the gold hardware, but it seems to look really cool with this color, and again for the price, i can't complain. i think im gonna like the gold on this one.

I'm GASing terribly bad for a Les Paul Standard. It hurts my body and my mind. But, I too am playing the relentless waiting game-- my custom Sunny Day Delay is so very out of reach
