A Rockerverb 50 with one of the tube protection fuses pulled and the OHMs matched accordingly:)

Well Steven first question I want to know is what do you want out of your amp?
To clarify, what do you consider "extras"?

Moreover, is this amp's ONLY purpose to produce clean guitar tone?
Or, do you want it to be clean but be able to breakup also?

Is price an issue or are we saying, THE BEST low watt clean amp?

Why 25 watt, out of interest? You're excluding a lot of good 30 watters that way!

Also, you might find that the old adage of 'more watts = more headroom' makes your question a bit paradoxical, as generally low wattage plus good clean is not always possible.

However, I'd certainly suggest you take a look at some of the low wattage silverface Fenders.

Deluxe Reverb is great.

I liked my little Carvin Vintage 16 ($400! NEW)

A Rocker 30 is also a nifty amp, a little bit more than the other two though.

My Carvin has great cleans at its 25 watt setting. The cleans should be even better when I put the SED 6l6's in'er.;)8)

I haven't had much time though, as my wife and I are caring for a very sick kitten(Rosie) with deformed ribs.:(:(:(:(:(

Rosie is the cutest, she is only 1 watt(lb) though.....we are trying to "rectify" that.

we thought one of my kittens was going to have to be put down cuz his legs were slightly splayed when he was small, but he grew out of it and is extremely agile for how fat he is now.
