i saw bright eyes in santa barbara. i was way stoked. that was october 22, 2005. i used to be OBSESSSSEEDD with that guy/band. so that was an experience.
warped tour is always cool....
i was GOING to see rocky votolato and minus the bear play in san luis obispo but my teacher told me to come by at a certain time to get a grade check so i could assure my dad i wasnt failing a class and the teacher was a no-show so my dad gave my ticket away. i will never forgive him for that.
i saw Set Your Goals at the last show at The Alpine in Ventura (these places are all in california btw). that was an AMAZINGLY ENERGETIC show.

Best:
About 16 years ago I saw Jellyfish at the Junction in Cambridge. Now I've seen some bands in my time and done enough production to know good from bad and not be easily impressed. But that gig was just unbelivable, The production was alright but the band had me mesmerised.
Memerable:
Good sound quality at large outdoor concerts used to be more hit and miss before laptops and DSP controllers with FFT measurements. So seeing The Eagles on one of their final world tours at wembly stadium about 14 years was a moment I remember for quality sound well mixed to put accross the performance. (mind you the support act sounded s#it).
Honerable mention:
ELO with the Moscow Phili orchestra at Wembley Area, probably nearer 20 years ago now.
That excludes a couple of local hero bands that you've never heard of.

Decibully with The Snake The Cross The Crown and Codeseven - changed everything i thought about music at the time.
The Weakerthans in gainesville a couple months ago was fantastic.
Gatby's American Dream, Circa Survive(first tour), and Bear Vs Shark(RIP) on the same night at this little 200 person venue in town...not even close to sold out.

You like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club?
That is awesome!
Everytime I mention that band to people around here they just give me a weird face and say, "Who?"
