The 6128's are really sweet, Jack. I'm partial to this one:
It's the 6128TSP ("Harrison" model.) I found the bridge was more Bigsby-friendly and I don't care for that extra articulation in the Bigsby on the model you posted.
But great guitars! My next one would be that, an elitist casino w/ Bigsby or a Hamer Korina Special...

And I was shocked at the $9500 price tag for the '66 Strat refin at Willies... I have a 66 Strat refin'd LPB and now I don't think I could bring it out of the house ever....

Willie's seems to run about 20-25% high. It's a great shop, though. Bought my Savage head there and really loved the experience. Also, the guitar I lust after lives there:
1964 330 TD that plays like Last Tango In Paris understudy butter. Here it is for reals:

File in the "FWIW" department:
Jody, are you are vigorous strummer/picker? I had one of these a loooooong time ago and found the pu selector switch to be poorly located for my vigor - I was always accidentally knocking the switch to the bridge position.
I'm more subtle now

yea i go pretty crazy on stage... i know what your talking about. But i already tested this baby out and its fine. But when i play strats thats a different story. That stupid volume knob is always jacking me up...
I also thought the switches on the Mustang would jack me up but i got used to them within several minutes. I ended up not buying either tho... If i like this new pick up set in my LP i will do the same thing with the Thinline.
You just like swapping and trading guitars. Nothing wrong with that.I only get attached to a few. The rest could go at a moments notice.I only have to have two guitars. My Nocaster, and my PRS soapbar. The rest could be gone ,and I would never miss them.A fact my friend.
I would love to find a mid 80's, I think,
Fender Robben Ford model. I think if found,
they are going for around $25,000!
Ouch!
