do you guys play? I know Clay is a blues guy, but I'm curious what the rest of you guys would say your musical direction or goal would be, if you had to classify it.

I would call my particular sound some sort of pyshedelic rock.

Hmmm. Worship music? That's pretty broad. Musically, it's a mix of modern rock, Brit rock, indie, electronic, hip hop... and some other stuff.

I would say, if I had to classify it, it would be more of a harder rocking blues style.

I play electronic dance music. I don't really play guitar in it though I either play bass or synth of some kind. When I play guitar its usually at church playing worship music.

I have a difficult time labeling my band's sound, but I usually just say psychedelic. I also like to play some indie/grunge kinda stuff; Modest Mouse or Pixies style. Then I play jazz in school.

I'm gonna add that playing in a jazz band has greatly influenced my song writing in the psychedelic band. I strive to use freaky jazz chords as often as I can.

No real limits, but tend to find myself playing blues, surf and rockbilly old rock stuff the most.

our band would probably be considered a mix of indie, post-hardcore, experimental, and rock. Without all of the subgenres it's just pretty much rock music, but life is complicated these days.
