So I just acquired this old vox sovereign head- it looks much like a vox beetle. However, there is no indication as to what the speaker impedance is.
Is it safe to assume that 7 ohms is what it outputs (since thats what the beetle does) ? If not, what can I assume?
Second question- if I wanted to load an empty cab with some speakers, what impedance should I get? Since this amp is solid state, does it really make that much of a difference? Will a different speaker impedance make the amp sound louder? How should I wire it- series or parallel?
Thanks-
