I played a custom 100 Hiwatt before and it was amazing. Very close to Orange amp but.. it seemed a bit cleaner if that is even possible.

My AD140. I absolutely love the tone of this amp. Before I owned my AD140 I tried out every amp I could get my hands on and I settled on a RV50 head with the PPC4X12 cab which I thought was the best. A few months later I got to reading about the AD140 and when I tried it I just fell in love. I have not even been tempted to sell it since i've owned it, which is pretty good for me since I go through amps like underwear normally.

I am having to say that my current "for the rest of my days" amp has to be a Matamp C7 coming through 2 Jensen Neo 10" (100W 8ohm) and a Lorantz 12" (30W 16ohm), setup; that's if we are just talking tone!!

(The lorantz is an australian made Greenback clone)

I don't gig so it's just for home but will deafen the house if it is pushed.

<br />Ulbrick 50 Watt Arena Head with the 2x12 cab. Hopefully my next purchase. They go for around $4k AUS. They look great in custom white leather.

Hard to say for me. All my amps sound really good, and the differences they have doesn't make anyone better. I can still miss differences in the old Orange RV that I don't get from my current ones.

If I'm allowed to add personal value into this matter I say the Orange Matamp. :D
