I use an old Electro Harmonix Hot Tubes. It works perfekt with my OTR120

i've tried my USA big muff pi but there is way too much low end even with the tone on the pedal all the way up.

will a fuzz face do this?

the best thing to do is borrow as many pedals from friends as you can until you find one that is alright. no pedal will sound better than the amp itself.

This is absolutely true. I used to use a Maestro Fuzztone with my AD140 but now I just use the amp distortion.

I use a Stamps Drive-O-Matic. It is made by 'The Amp Shop' in Reseda Calif. Thats Los Angeles FYI. They are a Orange dealer as well. The Drive-O-Matic is also available from Elderly Instruments in Lansing Mich. www.elderly.com

Try to find a Buffalo Pfuz. Not sure who makes it but it sounds great through my amps.
