Speaker Stand

So, I was able to gig this weekend with my new Avatar 2x12 and RV50 head. They sounded great!
The problem is that I used a 4x12 cabinet as a speaker stand in order to get the 2x12 off the floor so I could hear it without having to crank the amp way up. This produced a couple of funny looks from the bass player and drummer. I thought it looked pretty cool……
Therefore, I’m looking for a solution to the problem, and I was wondering if there is a product out there that will do what I want a stand to do. Specifically, I would really like the capability to tilt the speaker cabinet back and aimed up so I can hear it clearly, and also have the head sit nice and flat on a surface just above the speaker cabinet. I’m trying to picture what this would look like, and all I can envision is a really large and clunky design. The drummer claims that he has seen these before, but I have looked around and cannot find anything like it. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

I've been thinking about buying one these for my old bad back.
These will hold a 2-12 and with the optional upper arm it will hold a head too.
I bought exactly that from GC for 20 bucks for my combo 2x12 but I don't see why it wouldn't work for a speaker cabinet. Same thing. I'll show photos later, but I'm at work.

I want it to hold my RV50 head in a flat position too. I suppose it could tilt the head back too as long as it was supported in the back.

That's a really cool gizmo. A little on the pricey side though.
Perfect for a combo, but the head would slide right off the back and hit the floor. Not so good....

I suggest the old stand-by Milk Crates.
You could always mount some long trianglular pieces
of wood on top to keep the head straight.
Or mount something like the old fender heads had to lock
them down on top of the cab. Like the Bandmasters and
others had.

YES!! That is an excellent idea. I could manufacture some "gussets" from wood, install some type of clip on the front to drape/hook over the cabinet, and paint them orange of course.
I'm not sure what you mean about the Bandmasters....I'm not familiar with them.
