Has any one got or played one of these, how would you compare it to other teles in terms of tone?

Is the neck ridicously fat or is it thin, does anyone know what radius it is, i am trying to find one but would like abit more info on them!

Thanks alot

Irish Admiral (Joe has one) there's a bit on it here: http://forum.orangeamps.com/viewtopic.p ... ms=JD,tele
Hopefully he'll appear at some point and be able to chip in a bit more!

Hello...

Good luck finding one - they're quite rare.

The neck is quite fat compared to my normal G&L ASAT necks, and the necks you get on standard USA Teles / Strats etc. and the frets are vintage thin ones. So depending on whether you like it, you may or may not get on with it.

Tone... tone is going to be dependent on what pickups you're packing in it. I've retrofitted some Bulldog pickups, and the Strat neck pickup is spot on, with the bridge giving me some righteous twang.

They're less hot than my ASATs, but that's the way I wanted them. So yeah... really just depends what you want to fit in there.

I found one and its fitted with Bareknuckle Pildriver Pickups!

I didnt realise it had a fat neck, the guy that wants to sell it said the neck was comparable to the 52 reissue teles? Not sure what to do to be honest, i like the idea of having tele and strat p/ups but i dont get on very well wioth fat necks!

Do you know what radius it is Irish Admiral?

Cheers mate

Pass, i'm afraid.

It's not that curved, neither is it flat. So i'd guess at 7.5". It's pretty comfortable for me to play, and i've got small hands. I'd say it's a slightly fatter neck than the '52 RIs.

The Bareknuckle pickups should be decent though.

What's he asking for it?

I think about 400? Is that a rip off?

No, with a set of bareknuckles, and any sort of case, that's OK.

I got mine for £350 with hardcase, but it needed some soldering doing, which always hits the price a little.
