Haha, I'm not cool enough to make them from scratch yet, still working on knowing that much about them. I can make things from designs I find on the net. But I've got a few designs that are cooking...slowly simmering....

Digitech!! boss metal zone is another one i cant stand, but out of all the "metal" pedals i have heard, it's sadly one of the better ones.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say I disagree about Digitech! Whilst some of them (well perhaps most) suck tone - my RP20 whilst a good multi effects processor and pre-amp, kills the tone on tube amps, the digitech digidelay I have is actually very true sounding and also very quiet.
I cringe when I hear people mention the Marshall Jackhammer. Never liked mine at all.
