Hi guys, I have had a Tiny Terror since xmas, but am struggling to find the 'sound' I am looking for!!
I play covers by Oasis, Jam, Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park, Kaiser Chiefs etc...
Would upgrading to a 30adtc get me closer to that indie sound?
I play the Terror through an Orange 1x12 and seems very 'bassy' even when tone turned up and treble set at full.
My guitar is an Epiphone Supernova.
I would really appreciate any advice from you guys,
Upgrade from TT to 30Ad to get indie sound?

I'd say the AD30 would get you right there. I know for a fact that Oasis actually uses an AD30 and I think the Arctic Monkeys do as well.
Orange AD30HTC thru Orange PPC2x12. Orange Bass Terror Combo.

<br />If the AD30tc has the same valves as the Terror, does that mean that they will sound similar?
I don't want to spend all that money on the ad30 if it just a larger version of the Terror.
P.s. Love Jaccos sig. pic!!!!!1

I would describe the AD30 as having a darker Vox tone, because Oranges are characteristically darker amps. I'm going to hazard a guess that the bassy sound you're getting is partly attributed by the Vintage 30 speakers (if that's what you're cab is packing) as well as the nature of the TT itself. A Greenback has a sweeter sound, have you tried the TT through one of those? Perhaps, just for an experiment, go to a dealer and stick the TT through a cab with Greenbacks, for a means of comparison. Do you really need that extra 15 watts?

Through my AD 30 single channel with my 1968 Maple cap telecaster I am able to nail the Franz Ferdinand tone to the wall when we play a cover of Take Me Out.It also has that fizzy kind of fuzzy Oasis tone nailed as well plus it great for New York Dolls and mid to late 70's punk from both sides of the Atlantic.
