Hey guys,
So ive heard the quality of patch cord you use makes quite a difference with preserving your natural guitar signal. what kind of cables can you recommend to connect pedals with? i use monster patch cords but im wondering if its worth it to shell out the big $$ for good pedal cords ie: monster
thanks

Email mark, and tell him what you need, and he'll give you price quotes for pretty much all the different brands he offers. At one point in time I was running about 15 or 16 pedals on my board, and my tone was getting so thin and compressed I couldn't stand it anymore. I spent around $250 on patch cables for my whole board and I immediately noticed a difference. Everything opened back up again. Anyone who says that good patch cables won't make a difference, simply hasn't tried good patch cables.

I would say that $25 for a 8" cable is WAY TOO MUCH for a patch cable. You could make your own for $10. The most expensive thing in patch cables (if you're doing the bulk figures for the whole project) is buying the jacks. The cable costs $0.69 (the Canare cable I use is great, in my opinion of course), so you can buy 10 feet and make enough 8" patch cable lengths to even work for Andy's pedal board.
The jacks, on the other hand, cost in the range of $2.50 a piece, so you're paying $5 for plugs, and less than $1 for cable. But it's still really great quality, and it's nearly half as cheap (or more!) as buying monster.
And I'll be making a video soon on how to solder up/assemble the above pieces. Because I care InRainBows, because I care.

Neil is the MAN.

I thought the george l's were kind of...meh. Didn't sound that amazing, and they'd crap out constantly(given they're really easy to fix, when you've to trouble shoot between 15 pedals, it's a bit of a Pain in the.... to find the culprit)
