Hey guys,
Just wondering if any on here is old enough to have ever played a
Boss OD-1...I think the first overdrive boss made..any reviews?
Also, what do you guys think of the Blues Driver (BD-2)? any comparisons to the Keeley Mod BD-2?
thanks!!

I have used the OD-1. It wasnt bad... wasnt that great in my opinion though. I used a keeley BD-2 for about a year. It too is now off my board. I like the blues driver much more than the od-1 though

Cliff,
What did you replace the Keeley BD-2 with?
I mean to say, "What are you using for a flat transparent type of boost"?

(I have been considering a Xotic AC Boost for a flatter type of boost.)

I will tell you this....I absolutely LOVE my Keeley modded BD-2. And my Keeley modded DS-1 for that matter too. I love how the BD-2 (keeley modded) is such a good, transparent boost and does not change your core tone.

i also love my keeley modded BD-2. it really is uncolored as they say. it sounds like another channel to whatever amp you plug it into. i have an old broken DS-1 that i've been considering sending in, but i'm not sure if i'd like it, as i've never heard it.

Get it...you will not be dissapointed. Keeley makes the pedal very Marshall-esque and there is no fizziness to it at all.
