Hey grognon,
I can't tell you much about the crush 15, but I'm currently using a crush 10 to do some recording. It has great tone and is a LOUD 10 WATTS. It's louder than some of the 30 watt tube amps I've played through. It is deceptive with its single channel, 2 cascading/inline gain circuits, 3 band eq, and master. The two gains give this thing ridiculous versatility. It's nice to have something so small that you can just hook-up and play with and change tones so easily. I play BLUES, jazz, metal, and classic rock. I own a Gibson ES-335, Custom shop Fender strat, and a Ernie Ball/Music Man Axis and they all sound great through this little powerhouse. It is built solid and isn't inferior because it's a solid state amp. If taken care of properly it will last a lifetime and perform well for practice sessions, jammin' with your freinds, or recording. To all the naysayers out there that seem to have an opinion about a product they've never tried...get a life or better yet get a real job that will allow you to spend a little cash to try new things before you TRY to give advise! No it's not a tube amp with 100 WATTS melting the paint off the walls. That's not what it was intended to do. Great product, great price($99 or less)

what kind of recording are you doing with the crush 10????

louder? interesting. i always thought a watt is a watt is a watt.
i dont know...although i have noticed this to a small degree in some tube amps.

I think Orange have excellent gear.Once you get your hands on
one. you can go wrong with the crush 10 for a$100 bucks
I hear they sound awesome. (read harmony central)
I'm getting one sent to me Free from orange.(long story)
I also bought the PPC4x12 Cab and it rocks. heavy (120 lb)
but I love it, Got a VHT 50CL HD hook up to it.
I can't wait till I get my crush 10 and check it out.
It's 12"x12"x5"(HxWxD) so you can take it on trips
cuz it's so portable. I do love valves, but hey if the
amp is free and sound great. what the hey.I say bring it
on.also I am an Orange nut.
