Hi, i just bought a Danelectro Reel Echo today and i like it alot, but im not sure the 'sound on sound' feature is working properly!

I set repeats to max and lo-fi to min as they said, when i play the lick i want to play over it records it fine and plays it just as i would have expected.......
BUT, as it plays for longer it eventually gets louder and more distorted until its almost unbearable to listen to!!!

Anybody else have this problem, or am i doing something wrong?

Any help would be very appreciated!!

Perhaps the lo-fi is still on, even though set to min.

Is there anything i could do to fix it, if that was the problem?

Thanks

I love my reel echo, but haven't had the problem that you describe. I think the SOS feature is kinda usless actually, you're better off getting a looper pedal.
