SLAVE OUTPUT AT THE BACK OF OR 120

Since 1979 I plug my guitars in an Overdrive 120 and only now I wonder about the fonction of slave (input or output ?) jack at the back of the amp's head... Is there somebody who uses it and in what configuration ? Many thanks for your answer..Mike.

The slave out is designed so that you may use the preamp section with another power amp. Say you need to drive 4 cabinets. Just use the outputs on your amp for two and get an Orange slave amp to drive the other two. I have used the slave out for direct into the sound board recordings as well...but you should have a speaker load on the outputs when the amp is on so you don't blow the output transformer.
