Hey guys, i finished building my pedal board today which im gonna use at home!
I thought i'd try another way of building one and i used one of my many tools to create small hollows in the wood in which to place my pedals (theres a gap as i'm waiting for another) and then painted it white! I also raised the front end with some rubber feet.
Im rather pleased with the result actually as i think it looks pretty contemporary/cool. The downside being its not very versatile as i can't fit any more pedals on it, but for £3.99 not bad!!! What do you guys think?

Your board looks great.
I bought this road case thing to transport all of my cables and stuff around and by freak chance it has a removable shelf in it that is a perfect pedalboard. Meaning I got a metal roadcase and pedal board for under $30.

A lid that clips on and off would be good for you

Thanks guys! Yeah the problem will be if i decide to change pedals but im happy with my set up at the moment so hopefully that won't be for a while!
I hadn't thought of how im gonna transport it, i suppose just buy a really large padded case!
I might also put some rubber/felt in the recesses to protect the pedals better, but it might ruin the image so im not sure what to do.

I bought an aluminum pedaltrain a few years ago for 100.00 on closeout. came with a fairly good ata type roadcase. Not real big.. But the Wah, boost, 2 od's, and dd-20 fit (cramped).. I want to build a bigger one (yours is real nice), and I've been watching ebay for a cheap used keyboard or mixer ata type case.. Then i'll build it to fit in... good job.. BTW.. look in thrift shops for an old suitcase!!!
