Hey everyone, I just have a few questions.
I am planning on purchasing a the Orange 4*12 speaker cab but i am unsure as to what head to get. Is the Ad30 twin channel enough to power it or is it best advised to get the 140 head?
Also, for playing medium sized venues such clubs, etc. do you think the Ad30 combo amp has enough to cut through? Thanks alot

Hello, I use a 4 X 12 cab with OR 120 Head, I usually play in small and medium clubs as well as outside with big P.A. The4X12 cab is 300 watts of power, you need a big head to make it sound. For my opinion, I used so much combos and I won't change my Orange stuff for anything else. Big amps, big sound, small amps, ......

Well I tried the 4*12 cab with both the 30 watt twin channel head and its 140 watt counterpart. I have to say that they both sound great, heck its the purest tube sound ive heard in my lif, rivaled maybe by the mesa rect. What i encountered was the 30 watt does have a bit of slag to the sound and it doesnt have the over the top sound like the 140 watt. If all i played was blues and blues based rock the 30 watt would suffice to say the least, but really the 140 head is just so powerful its sick.
