Hello. I own an Orange 4x12 cab with '71 Eminence speakers in it (numbers 12EAGA8EX 67-7104). They have the aluminum dust cap with the black dot vent hole in the middle and almost horse shoe shaped rounded square magnets. What is the popular opinion of these speakers? What is their RMS/peak wattage capability? I assume they are purely guitar speakers, but can they take bass guitar as well? Thanks!

Don't use them for bass- they won't be able to take it.

Dunno what the wattage is on those but they're good sounding speakers- I have two cabs that had them originally- and re-did one of the cabs with Vintage 30's expecting a huge difference in sound/tone. There wasn't. The Eminence sound great...

Hello. Does anyone else know what the wattage handling is? Thanks!

I have been told 75 watts by the folks at eminence. I would say at least 50 watts per driver.
