is changing tubes in an AC30.
eff!

It was stuck for a while after I remembered that I had to take out one of the wooden panels, and now after throwing in some groove tubes and new 12ax7/ecc38s, it sounds amazing. I think I'll take a video now?

From Billy: I had to change the title of this...

yes, there is something even worse: change the tubes of a new AC30CC, I have not succeed even seeing the tubes. I know LeonC and others have one of those, so how you can open the damn thing and see the chasis???

Fuz, you scared me with that subject, by the way!!!..
I thought there was real drama entering the forum...

Actually i've found i cant get the wooden panel off the back of my AD30r to get to the valves, well i could but i'd have to shed some real sweat putting all my weight behind a screwdriver and something tells me thats not right, or maybe i'm just very weak?

Cleaned this up... the original title of this was pretty offensive to me.

Sorry to hear that changing tubes on one of those is so tough- I would have thought you'd pull the chassis no matter what when doing it?

sorry billy. but yeah, you have to pull the chassis out, it's just 25 or so long screws that you have to get through.
