Hi guys, not been on here for years, hope all is well.
I recently invested in a Fender Rhodes, i'm yet to collect it but was intending on using it through my AD30r when i get it, for that overdriven sound, this will not kill my amp will it? i know people often use em through a Fender twin but i know they're a lot more powerfull than 30 watt orange amp.
Cheers guys.

I am not an expert on this stuff, but I would be worried about the low notes on the Rhodes - at high volume, I think they might hurt the speakers in a guitar cab - but you could solve this by using a bass cab like bclaire.

Thanks guys, it'll only be at a low volume (bedroom volume!) so think it will be fine.
My next purchase is a Hammond XB2 complete with Lesley, so its only a temp mesure till i get the Lesley.
God damn, at this rate my Telecaster is gonna be gathering some serious dust!

John Medeski uses a Fender Twin for his so you should be fine as long as the bass isn't totally cranked. I know a keyboardist in Annapolis, MD who uses an old Deluxe Reverb for a Wurli. The lows don't get too out of hand with either of those anyway so I think you would be fine.

I've got a friend who plays a Rhodes through his Fender Twin, sounds great, and as long as you're not diming the thing, it should be fine. Anything dimed is going to put some wear and tear on the speaker. The Rhodes isn't as constant/sustaining as a keyboard, as it works a little differently. You should be fine.

Ah correction: John Medeski doesn't use a Twin, he uses a tweed Bassman. Carry on then.
