The local dealer finally got a tiny terror in stock and I got to go jam through it. So I figured I would share my impressions.
I used my G&L ASAT and played through a genz benz 1x12 with a g12t75.
It sounded good but not great. I was really expecting more. It could have been the tubes or the cab but the sound was just too lifeless for me. However it was very versatile. I could cover lots of ground just cranking adjusting the gain. I really liked the clean sound but for a low wattage class A I prefer my vj's dirty. I think it would make a great back up amp but it is too loud for practice and, in the form I played it, too sterile to take the place of my hiwatt. I do believe that putting some new tubes in there would improve the tone. I did really like how the wattage selection to bring it under control. Before I make a final decision on my opinion I do want to play it through a different cab. I think it would benefit from a 2x12 with a g12h30 and a greenback. Just my good for nothing opinion :D

No ones opinions on this forum are good for nothing.
If you weren't crazy about it so what. It is not
for everyone. Don't feel bad about your opinion.

Now I absolutely love mine and would never give it
up far any reason...and I am using 1x12 cabs.

We still respect your opinion and have no issue at
all with you posting it!
Have a great weekend!

I definitely felt it had its good points. I think I just got my hopes up to much from all the hype. It was much better then most new amps I have played lately.

I understand completely. We all would want that Little thing to have the Same Plate Voltage as your Hiwatt and have two EL34's. But that is not possible.

I love my tt, but, I can also see why someone else would not like it too. I have never been a clean player.

Ahhh, but you are very moral and have an extremely clean
mind! Thats makes up for it!

The Tiny Terror Rocks...bet if he had one awhile he'd fail in love
with it...if I remember, it took you awhile to get into it.

I still think the TT will do a really decent clean,
just possible not as loud as some would like. I can
seem to get a pretty loud great clean sound out of mine.

Try it with the Greenbacks and V30s. I thought it sounded terrible with a g12t75 and much better with the greenbacks.

Steve, Did you get to turn the volume up, rather than just the gain? I know it's not easy in most stores.

I was amazed when I first turned mine up. There's some real punch that's not there at lower volume and everytime I crank it (so usually in public places) I'm just proud of the tones coming out of that thing. Sounds nice at low volumes, but really sings when cranked.

Yeah I cranked the volume and then adjusted with the gain. I really think the speaker cab had a lot to do with it. If I was playing my modded vj through the same cab I know it would not sound the same as through g12h30s. My buddy is gonna buy one and then we will put it through the speaker test. Like I said it wasnt a bad amp and would definitely be one of the top amps of new production amps on my list. I was just hoping for the vintage orange sound, and to me the tt was very modern sounding.
