I posted alot on the forum here a year or so back. Told of how my mother was diagnosed with cancer.
Well she just passed away after a mammoth 2 year battle. It finally beat her. It still hasnt sunk in.
All i want to say is hi to all my old peeps on here. Let ye all try and live healty lifestyles, try and avoid cancer because its a horrific disease.

I also have to speak at the funeral, would be good to hear some nice quotes etc i could use.

Live life to the fullest everyday lads and never leave yourself with regrets.

I was just thinking about you and recalling when you initially told us about your mom so long ago. I'm so sorry to hear that man. My condolences.

My condolences to you and your family. I lost my mother a couple of years ago and life hasn't been the same for my family.

I don't know of any words to say, but one of my favorite songs always brings me closer to God.

Go to number 12 and listen to it if you're not familiar with it.

It's going to hurt for awhile...no getting around that.I just lost my dad on March 9...watched him wither away with Parkinson's,and diabetes. If you're a person of faith,d'ont be afraid to talk to God.Stick close with those important in your life...you're going to need them. Sorry for your loss,it's certainly not easy...but you can get through it,even though it may not feel like it right now.Trust me!!! ;)

Misty is a she....not a he or a "man"

I'm so sorry. I've fought that beast and beat it. It's a horrible thing. My best to you and your family.

So sorry to hear that Misty.

We're just in the process of losing a very close friend. Won't be long now I fear. You never get long enough with the good ones you really need around.

As far as quotes, well my favourite author just passed on last Wednesday. You could try checking out the tributes here for some thoughts.

Wishing you all the strength you'll need.

Misty,
I am terribly sorry for your loss as I lost my Mother 12 years ago when she was 55. It is Horrible when you have a big family and there never seems to be the right words to make it better.

For me, I felt that My Mom had gone to a better place as she suffered from an Aneurism(sp) which Comatized her. I look back and am Glad she did not suffer long.

I tried to remain Strong to keep the Rest going in Her Spirit, by doing things I thought she might have done. It worked and still does.

Now it is your time to be strong in the Spirit of your Mom.

Hang in there... we're thinking of you.

My song to listen to in these times is George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. It gives me comfort...

hang in there, cancer is a horrible thing to have to battle, but now you can admire her in the strength she displayed in the fight. I respect anyone that has gone through that or is related to anyone close to them.
