At The Drive In, Pink Floyd (Gilmour and Waters together and with no extra 10 guys playing with them), The Thirty Years War

Basically, any of the bands I listen to now, but when they first started out.

Yeah! That would have been good.

I would have liked to have seen Glassjaw as well.

the bjork thing...I just want to see her, but live in bfe, so I can never go see the big shows.

I would like to see At the Drive In...again. Yes, I'm bragging, but it was great that they weren't even on the bill for this hole in the wall in town. They just showed up and asked to play before the other bands. Yes, they opened, played on the floor instead of the stage...and rocked. the bands that followed really shouldn't have even bothered.

Bands I did see live( it's easier to remember):-

1966:- Spencer Davis Group, The Animals,The Hollies (with Graham Nash) The Pretty Things, Screamin Lord Sutch

1969: Deep Purple, Gino Washington, The Alan Price Set, Zoot Money

1971:- The Faces, T Rex, Curved Air, Rory Gallagher, Heads Hands and Feet..too stoned to remember the rest...except 'where's Wally!'

Big Interlude...marriage,..and mortgage..general slump, miners strike, steel closures..the thatcher era..Falklands... then....' Did the Doobie Bros really split up then?...damn'

1988:- My Daughter was born, greatest gig I've ever been to...

1991 Dire Straits at Woburn Abbey

1993 Status Quo, Rod Stewart, Malcom Mcdonald.. who is still great...

2003 Stones at Twickenham

2004 Red Hot Chili's Hyde Park, James Brown..was excellent

2006 The Who at Electric Proms Roundhouse

2007...hoping to catch The Police at Twickenham...

I still haven't seen Clapton live, almost impossible to get tickets for him, they sell out same day.., and have dvd's of all the rest that I could never get.. Led Zep..Free..Queen and Paul Rodgers...
The Beach Boys deserve a mention too...

+1. I wasn't even sperm, I was 13 when they sold old Earls Court in two hours in '75 and had to add two more shows, and then 17 when they played Knebworth in '79.

Couldn't get a sniff of tickets at a reasonable price, and I was a schoolkid, so big bucks were out of the question.

All you guys that said Led Zeppelin didn't miss anything. They sucked so bad when I saw them, I was embarrased for them. You know the album "The Song Remains the Same", that's what they sounded like. I wish that the songs truly did remain the same.

Anyway, for me it's Jimi and the Beatles.

Most memorable gigs I DID go to:

1976 Thin Lizzy, support by Grham Parker (my first gig)
1976 Hyde Park - Queen, Stevie Winwood, Supercharge, Kiki Dee
1977 Marc Bolan supported by The Damned
1979 XTC supported by a really nasty punk band, whose name I can't remember
1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute, Wembley

Anything involving Paul Rodgers would have been good and probably still would be.

I've seen Paul Rogers (v. good) - but would have liked to seen the 'Koss' in action - probably around Fire and Water sort of time. I've seen on DVD them playing the Isle of White (yes that one) earlier in the day, that would have been good.

Too many to list, but I wish I had seen MC5, Deadboys, Heartbreakers, and the Dictators. Oh, and The Who (Live at Leeds era)
