I'd have to go with the Sword, almost a wall of sound. A lot of that has to do with the bassist and fuzz but still, Orange is in the mix.

Well if Bluz is going to toot his own horn so will I.

My song '1St Night' has that stereotypical over the top ringing Orange sound and growling feedback that I love from Oranges. It was a lot of fun to record in the studio because my AD30R was so F'ing loud that my drummer had to wear headphones to hear himself. Song is on my webpage if you want to give a listen.

Well, I wouldn't say it's a band, but I and three other fellas in a local guitar shop fancy Oranges and when we're all in there together, let's just say that we make the Angel's cry.

An Orange Overdrive live and The Sword. Probably one of the best live sounds ive ever heard.

Also, I have a song on my computer from someone on this board that is amazing. It's instrumental and my notes say that it is an Orange Overdrive on one side and an ac-30 on the other. Anyone know who's that is?

so what's exactly on the left? The bogner and hiwatt? Ya, its hard to really hear the detail with songs compressed on myspace, but I can hear the darker Orange. At around 1:40 everything gets distorted, levels peaked or something. His yelling reminds me of timmy from underoath's newest define the great line.

Good song, like the ending. You guys get more members?? 7?

IMO the definitive "Orange" band would be Boris. The guitar player, Watta, gets an awesome sound.50% explosive high energy rock n roll, and 50% ultra sludge. and once in a while you can hear how beautiful the clean channel.

go listen to their album "heavy friends"
