I'm going to get an additional cabinet to go with my AD200B MK3 and my orange 410. Orange obviously suggests the 115 and 410 together, but I'm curious about the idea of getting a second 410. I absolutely love the sound of the 200 w/ the 410, but want it louder. Has anyone ever tried hooking up two 410s to the AD200? Would the cabs be underpowered? Any input greatly appreciated! Thanks Oranges!!!

never tried but I don't see why the cabs would be underpowered. I've seen Underoath powering 2 full cabs with the AD140. I know for bass you're looking at a different monster, but powerwise, I think it's good. But that 115 might give you the versatility you need . . .

If you really like the 4x10 then I can't see why it would'nt be a good idea. Personally I would think two tweeters is too much (maybe cut one off?). I like the extra oompf you get from a 1x15" though. I'm also the kind of person who rather bring my OBC15 to a small gig than my OBC 410.

Personally, I do not like mixing speakers, especially a 1x15 with a 4x10 because the 4x10 is just so much louder and often has more low end. However it seems almost every other bass player I meet thinks a 4x10 and a 1x15 is a perfect setup.....

I would definately go for the extra 4x10, and turn the horns off on both ;)

has anyone figured out how to disable the horns? I would be super interested in 2 4x10 cabs if there was a way! I'm pretty anti-treble at the moment..

Do the Orange 4x10s really not have a control for the horn?
I've never actually seen an Orange bass cab in real life, infact I only know of one other person in my country with an AD200B.

hey kelly, yea ive played both set ups one after another at the store... over and over, until i decided. they both sounded good, i chose my setup because it did sound alot fuller, and the mixture of the speakers made the highs alot more bearable then the 410's alone. but the 2 410's togeather were nice also. its all a matter of taste, you cant go wrong with either. and now that i know how to knock off the tweeter i could deff consider getting another 410 one day.

timi- im going to have to disagree with what you said about the 410 sounding so much louder, i find it the opposite. obviously if your standing right next to the cabs youll hear the 410 more clearly (given that its on top). but when your backed away i dont feel its the case.

heres a thread explaining the easiest way i found to turn of the horn

edit*- that being said i prefer to have the horn on when i use the 2 cabs togeather.
