what was the biggest let down? Without drawing too much fire. For me it was my Les Paul Standard.Compaired to what I am use to playing it sucked the mother load. :(..I am happy for all who love this model.I love many players who play one. Duane Allman, Warren Haynes, Billy Gibbons...It just wasn't for me. Everyone has some gear that they were disappointed in. That is what this thread is for. Tell what and why. If it was a tele, fine.

it was a mexican strat with american hardware, sounded ok in the shop but when i got it home it sounded like crap,

the worst part though is that i part exchanged it for an Epiphone sheriton 11, a nice guitar im sad to say i made that trade.[:(!][:(!]:?

I would say a peavey predator, and also a crate v something or another. The guitar sucked baaad. And the crate had plastic stems for the knobs. I couldnt believe the crap used to build it.
I always wish we wouldnt have sold out for the almighty dollar.

Definately a Marshall MG100DFX that I use to have. I could get some o.k. tones out of it, but the rest were just plain crap. And sometimes out of nowhere the cooling fan would start sounding like a chainsaw. Terrible.

Koch Pedaltone. it seemed so versatile with its 3 channels + power amp overdrive and all but i just couldn't get along with it.
At the same time it's the one thing i wish i could try today with my current gear.

A John hole V may just top the list. The looks of it remind me of having to sit in my own $hit.

The list of Garbage I have bought is so extensive that it would be a mortal sin just to recap it.

First mexican strat I bought was garbage. I played another mexican strat and fell in love with it (not a perfect guitar but plays damn nice). Some are winners and some are losers I suppose
