It WAS an ES-335... I thought it was. Apparently he was after a Ric, so he may have used one for the last broadcast. Amps are JCM 800 & a Fender Vibrolux... a few Boss pedals also.


Don't tell me the best way, just tell me the cheapest way...

Gotta try a 60's or late 50's fender reverb deluxe. 22W, amazing clean tone.

I'm not a fender buff, but it had black tolex and silver plate face. Just try it.

Never been a Bandmaster fan... probably because it IS so clean and hard to get to break up.

I actually HAVE a blackface Bandmaster but it isn't any basis for comparison because whoever owned it previously replaced power and output transformers with Showman trannys and added two more power tubes! It is the ultimate in loud and clean and I only use it for bass and my Rhodes. It has so much headroom that you can turn it all the way up and no distortion...

I've got my AD for crunch. Does a bandmaster give you the ol' glassy & shimmery fender clean?
