I know this is a bit off topic but heay its a free world.
Im intending on fitting some Bare knuckle pickups, p90s to my guitar.

Has anybody ever used bare knuckle pickups or heard things about them?

All i know is the have the besyt customer support ever, EVER! Ive been exchanging emails to and fro with the maneging director for amost 4 days now. So helpful. Weve come to the conclusion that two p90s with alcino 4, custom wound to what he thinks will suit the sound description i gave him best using vintage plain enamel wire.

The search for a satisfying tone is a constant battle

I’ve never herd of them before, but on a quick look on there site, they sound a great company! I think £100 - £120 odd for a "custom" UK made pickup sounds a bargin.
I get to a point where i think i am completely happy with my setup, and then i find/get shown things like this! Damn. Now ill just have to find the one that will fit the job! (then try and get some money together) <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
I say mistyfog, go for it!!!
(its just a shame they dont have sound clips on the site yet)
