Right, i might be right off the mark, but i could swear that i saw a orange combo about a year ago (Don’t know if it was in a mag or in real life), i think an ad30r, all in (kind of a orange) wood and no orange tolex and it was a limited edition.
Am i right in thinking this.
Has anyone got one? If so what are they like. (The same as the straight ad30 I expect)
I think it was around £1300
Has anyone got any pictures of this or information?
I need to win a bet im having with a mate of mine. So please help!
thanks

Yes there is definatly, i was looking at one the other day i think it was a twin channel Ad 30, the combo that is. Its a solid pine cabinet stained red and has a metal plate on it with "Limited edition No.23 of 100" on it. I too want to know if it has any tonal differences when compared with the standard Ad30. I have a choice between it and a standard version Ad30 and cannot choose as i would like the orange on an orange but i would also like a limited edition version. What a dilemma<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

The search for a satisfying tone is a constant battle

Yer, i thought the same thing a year ago. but i dint have the cash for the £1300 asking price and i wanted a 4x12. But how amazing would it be to have a limited edition model (with a little plate on top to prove it). so i got a AD30TCH and 4x12.
I just need a pic or a link to a pic, to win my bet.

Also ive got a few 100 quid about so if someone wants to sell theirs ill give ya mmm let me think:

£350 for it.... PLEASE!

Hi There

I remember seeing this amp in a feature in Guitarist magazine or something about a year ago. I'd be to scared to touch it. It looked amazing.

In a quick search on the net the only mention I could find of it was 'AD30 TC Ltd. Edition in Mahogany £1,299' at http://www.peachideas.com/acatalog/SpecialistAmps.html where he has one for sale. I'll try and hunt through my guitar magazines to see which edition it was in.

cheers

Ok so i can get the Ad30tc combo in what im nearly sure is pine stained red, should i buy it over the standard? I really want to know if there are any differences bar wood between it and a standard one.

having trouble finidng this mag - will keep hunting.

my concern with the wood cabinet would be the fact that i'd be pretty worried about it - i'm sure it would ding up easily. if the amp was just going to live in a studio it wouldn't be such a big deal. i'm not sure about the sound implications of a hardwood cab versus a normal cab.
