Baritone Guitars?

I'd love a baritone, i was thinking of trying one of those Gretsch Electromatix. The only Bari i've played is the Danelectro Longhorn someone has above, they've pretty nice and very clear, you can get some real good crunch from them too if you wanted to run it into distortion and get dirty. Don't worry about eating your bassists tones, baritones have a lot of higher overtones that give them a much clearer sound than bass even if they are similar range. I've seen Trey Spruance in Secret Chiefs 3 use baritones at a couple of gigs through a little fender twin (obviously brighter than an Orange) and him and the bassist (Shahzad Ismaily (best in the world) with Fender Jazz and an Ampeg SVT+8x10) sounded perfect together wither plenty of space around the notes. I may try making one too, i've got a couple of daily light 4 string bass bodies around that may be usable.
